Default Your Desert Island Disc.

If you were stranded on a desert island with only one CD, what would it be?

For me, it would be a tossup between;

Logistics - Crash Bang Wallop!
Logistics - Reality Checkpoint
Daft Punk - Discovery
Cyantific - Ghetto Blaster

But overall, Reality Checkpoint would probably win out. I could never, ever get bored of listening to most of the tracks on that album.

What about you?

We're talking about music here, or anything that can be on a CD?

Yeah, only music albums.

I go the idea from a radio show on BBC Radio with the same title.

And hmm... i'm not sure actually, never thought of that. I think it's just the one single disc you're allowed.

Wintersun - Wintersun.

I would easily let that album be my eternity.

Honestly, Erotic Diarrhea Fantasy by Finnish porngrind band Torsof**k.

It combines comedy, death metal, and amusing yet effective sexual themes. While separately these three things are already powerhouses that decide elections, together they are the pinnacle of musical evolution.

Could I put songs from various bands onto a blank CD?

If not, I'd need to think about it. Possibly either Valley Of The Damned or Sonic Firestorm by DragonForce, but there are a lot of others I'm thinking of.

The real question though, is why couldn't I bring my mp3 player?

One band, one album, one CD as it was released. No burning CDs or anything like that.

And your mp3 player... fell into the water or something.

*looks at the fourteen Beatles albums in his iTunes library*

...nope!

As to my own desert island disc, I really don't think I can answer this question. I'd probably say the complete Avatar soundtrack, as I know I'd go insane without being able to listen to it -- but there's so much music that I like that I wouldn't know how to choose!

Heh.

I listen to a lot of music, but I don't think I listen to any music that has been released on a CD...
