Default It's Addicting!: Avatar Tattoo Guy Is Back At It

Article from Geekologie

NOTE: Full-res picture HERE in case you're into cancerous moles and back hair.

Remember Avatar tattoo guy? First it was the left shoulder, then the right, and now a full-body Neytiri next to his spine. Based on the quality, I'm gonna assume he got this one in the slammer. Which, fun fact: is where I met my first boyfriend.

Picture

Thanks to Steve, who has a pterodactyl tat across his back that flaps its wings when he does the funky chicken, making it cool and not so cool at the same time.

---

I really can't imagine doing this.

There's nothing wrong with Avatar tattoos, but this dude needs to find a place that KNOWS WHAT THEY'RE DOING.

Lol. Chappelle show. Damn awesome while it was around.
This is what i think of that guys tattoos:

Dude. Seriously. The pictures might be good on paper, or individually, but they're arrayed very badly.
I'd do a sh*t on that guys tattoos. At least he's dedicated, but still.

P.S. That guy's back has so many freckles on it.

3 strikes, your out! =/

None of them turned out good, especially not for something you would wear for the rest of your life!

His name is IGGY on Avatar Typepad. He's a frequent poster. AVATAR: IGGY’s Profile

He shared his tattoos with the Avatar community: AVATAR

Those tattoos aren't all that great, but they aren't all that bad either.

Please note that most of the article was directly from Geekologie, not mine.

No offense to him, but I don't really care for those tattoos... Just not great quality.

If I were to get an Avatar-inspired tattoo, I'd get the hometree shield or something along those lines.

hmm, they're not that great, but nice effort.

I know a good place, I just need money and a proper design for mine...

10/10 in fanaticism, 2/10 in means of demonstrating it.

I'd seriously considered making myself a tribal tatoo, based on an Ikran emblem I've got around here; but just one of those which last a month. I can see that guy trying to erase those in 40 years.

I don't really see why (apart from the fairly bad quality), it's not like Avatar will be forgotten...

Yeah not the greatest quality, but at least he went through with it. I know when I get an Avatar related one it will have to be much nicer and certainly not a character. But thats just me.

I agree with nickneagle.

I really do commend the guy for going through with it but ouch... is that a bad job. The full-body of Neytiri is alright, but the close up faces are just... well... *facepalms*

He's back at it... again.

More pictures can be seen on his Avatar Typepad profile:
AVATAR: IGGY

And he's got more coming.
