She's probably my favourite character from the entire movie, and one who I wish we had seen a lot more of. Does anyone know if she'll get more attention in the extended version? I was very glad to see a non-Avatar human who was nonetheless able to see the wrong that was going on around her and do something about it.

Plus, she was hotter than Neytiri.

To be honest when i first saw the Trailer i was : hell yeah! Michelle Rodriguez, im so going to go see that movie

Well i think michelle did her best to portray her character, and she did a good job - however, i wasnt exactly happy with the character created by JC - She has some of the worst oneliners i have seen in quite some time :s

And i doubt that we will see her in any of the following movies. It might be Sci-Fi, but bringing back more than 1-2 characters will have a very negative effect on the average cinema-person.

I really didn't care that much about Trudy sad to say I didn't feel too much at all when she died, only a fear that more main characters would continue to die off, which they did. I am not a huge Michelle Rodriguez fan, saw her first in LOST and hated her role so I think that stereotype carried over.

As several users above mentioned, she was not the best scripted character. She had some flat-out boring and stupid lines. I just didn't find her character a driving force in my enjoyment of the movie at all, much like Norm. Which, btw, thank goodness that romance wasn't in there. Sorry to all the Trudy fanboys out there, but she just isn't my cup of tea

I wouldn't say I am a Trudy fanboy, but I did like Trudy.

Actually, I really liked her in Lost and was sorry she was killed off. In fact, I didn't really watch it again after she went come to think about it.

But I do think she was type cast in Avatar playing almost exactly the same role even to the extent that she got killed off. And indeed was similar to the Latin chic in Aliens to some extent.

But in my case I liked the role Michelle played in Lost and Avatar, so I didn't mind at all and would not have minded seeing more of her.

I didn't really think about her in Lost that much.

I did like Trudy, hey, she's a woman with an interest in aircraft, that's rare and hot , but really Neytiri >>>>>>>> Trudy. I didn't get annoyed about how her character was similar to to others she's played, simply because I never think about that, it just doesn't occurr to me.
