I thought that quote would sum up how I feel right now.

I thought the 'war' would escalate to such a point that it would result in everything collapsing and at one point I was seriously considering giving it all up. Just abandoning everything, forgetting this whole saga and, unfortunately, all the wonderful people I have met on the journey so far.

But things changed.

I now feel the utmost confidence that we can all come together again, united under the one thing we all love and stand strong and united.

Oel ngati kameie, aytsmuke si aytsmukan.

I was thinking of leaving the Avatar universe too.

But I didn't. The people need me. The people need you. The people need all of us.

We are united. We are one.

I'm so happy right now. I never thought of leaving completely, but as things were going, I certainly did think about disappearing and appearing again as someone else. So glad I never had to, and now we have two places to go

Echoing these sentiments, I've planted my footholds in our new forum, although I've not given up on AF- I'll still periodically visit and check out how things have gone.

Oh, for the record, the unity in this community is highly obvious

It's like I said in IRC the other day, there's plenty of room in the Avatar universe for multiple fan sites. Glad to see an agreement has been reached.

I've been gone during the whole incident so I'm now trying to piece together what exactly happened. This community seems to embody the sort of unity that I miss from AF. Though I'll still visit both, I'm glad this site was set up

You are all so right in what you say

Before all this I was very close to leaving the forums completely... it felt like I got nothing out of them anymore.

Now though, things have changed
