Immediately prior to the destruction of Hometree when Jake is warning the Omaticaya (@ 1:36:00 for those who are interested) he says something that sounds like "Skiva'a" with the subtitles reading "destroy". He says the same word(s) again @ 1:38:20. It's making me crazy, I've been able to make sense of what most of the words are in the movie with repeated listenings, but this one has me stumped! Help?

I think its Skee'va (don't know if that's how it's spelled) but I believe it means "run" or "flee"

According to the learnnavi wordlist, ska'a is 'destroy'.
nickl630, 'run' is tul, no word for 'flee'

Yeah, that's what gets me! destroy is Ska'a and the imminent future infix is -ìy- so that would make "will destroy" "Skìya'a". I'm hearing a "V" in there though. either that or my understanding of Na'vi pronunciation is off

Well, Jake's skill at the Na'vi language is by no means perfect.

True, true. I would think that they'd all be really confused, or Jake would have gotten Neytiri to translate for him. Maybe I'm putting too much thought into this whole thing...
