Default Series of videos of Avatar Day at Los Angeles w/ James Cameron

James Cameron and Fox headed to Los Angeles, CA for Avatar Day and showed reporters production designs from Avatar as a way to advertise the November 16th release of Avatar on Blu-ray and DVD. Fortunately for us, some of those reporters got the tour on video:

Awesome videos. Very interesting.

The motion capture and simulcam was especially cool.

Just finished watching all of 'em.

For the simulcam video... do I sense a deleted scene? Because the shot they show is not in the film.

The SIMULCAM stuff is very interesting. If I had to guess, I would say that the next step from here is to give the actors augmented reality glasses that show a rendering of the pre-vis from their perspective.

after all do want avatar rendering engine with those helmets/outfits and all other stuff
