Default If you were a Na'vi, how would you wear your hair?

Just curious, I have thought about it myself on multipule occasions. There are several different ways to wear it.

- The way all the Avatar's have their hair.
- The way most of the Na'vi males keep it, in a mo hawk-like way, Jake later wears his this way.
- All braids like how Neytiri (and a lot of other Na'vi) have it through out most of the movie.
- Not braided or anything, like how Neytiri has it during the more gentle scenes of the movie

That's all I can think of at the moment. Or you would you come up with a new way to keep your hair?

Altough I am a male myself, I would probably have it one or both of the ways Neytiri keeps hers. Braided or nothing at all done to it.

Second choice, mo hawk with braids like Jake had at the end.

I'd probably have zero braids, just removing all hair except that which conceals the queue.

I'd have it braided and long but with a full head of hair, like the Na'vi males who don't have the mohawk.
Or possibly the second way Jake has it, I guess, unbraided and mostly back with a few loose bits at the front, but I'd probably go for the one above.

PS. there are some Na'vi females who have the mohawk too, like Peyral (if you say she's the hunter who got an Ikran with Jake) as do a couple of others you see around Hometree.

Id probable keep my hair like how Neytiri has it in the mating scene. Really pretty, but I imagine it would be a pain when riding an Ikran. It would be really pretty to have it all in little braids like she usually has it in but then pull it into a bun or just pull back the front and clip it in the back.

To be honest, i'd wear it like grace has it here...

With a headband of some description and maybe a few beads and braids here and there.
Although, I wouldn't have my hair pulled back or 'restrained' or anything, seeing as I can never be bothered with doing my hair.

Edit: This is probably the closest idea, but Na'vi-fied.

Tsu'tey, Jake and other males wore their hair that was because they were high ranking warriors.
I keep thinking about how they may have shaved his head... ouch. Think I'll write a cut scene about his feelings for that.

I think the headband thing is stupid looking and shows that Grace is trying to still look human.

I think Jake did it for the battle, he chose to in order to be more Na'vi. I'm kind of hoping he might grow it out after, the look before suits him more (and it's a look I can do myself with my real hair )
Neytiri probably did it for him

It seemed to more be a choice - there were various females who had it like that, while some of the males didn't (like Eytukan)

as for Grace, that was early on in the film - she did still have to be an avatar, as much as she probably wanted to wear Na'vi clothes

Probably the same way I do now. I have a long braided pony tail anyway, I had it long before AVATAR was released. It goes only about half way down my back tho. I liked the way Jake had his, before the last battle.

I'd probably go for the way Jake's avatar wears it for most of the movie.

Me too, like he had it before the war.
