Default Bought an AMP suit maquette

after alot of procrastinating, I figured I should just buy one because they're limited to 500 and if I missed out i'd probably be annoyed about if forever.

I'm sure most of the people on here have either seen or read about these sideshow amp suits... ridiculously expensive in my oppinion, but hey. I've never collected anything before, but since Avatar, I basically havent stopped with everything avatar related I can find.

anyway, just thought I'd announce it on here that I'm getting one, because telling my friends/family will get me called an idiot pretty damn quick. haha.

That's awesome And who cares what anybody thinks, that thing is cool...

Looking at the sideshow collectibles site, I glanced past the price thinking "$119.99 isn't that expensive for a 21 inch tall model" then I went back and realized I was missing another digit on the price

But still...

hehe. Good work man. the neytiri one looks pretty nice. I ordered one of those too!

looking at the dimensions of it, she should sit at a pretty good size next to the amp suit

Hey, thanks guys.. works out to about $1,370AUD-ish to get it and ship it to australia... but who's counting

speaking of the collection, I'm waiting for the neytiri statue, the Jake and Neytiri mini-busts, and waiting for the dagger and jewelry replicas from the noble collection site. (link for anyone who doesnt know what i'm talking about)

These things seem a little expensive for movie memorabilia. I've been trying to be a bit more careful in my purchases recently. If these were items up for charity auctions or from independent artists (see: hipster) I might buy them. Anyway I hope you enjoy them.
