I take some minutes to build a player that shows a song's spectrum as bioluminescence on a background. Very crapy but funny.
Just load a MP3 like "The Bioluminescence Of The Night" to see how it works. You can press S to see a normal spectrum. The bioluminescence is not random! It's depending on the spectrum of the song you have loaded. There is a folder "backgrounds". You can put any picture (jpg, bmp, png) into it. The player will load them at startup. For best results resize the pictures to 800x450. Download (Windows and MacOS X) You can't see much on this screenshot, it's better to test it in real ![]()

Just remembered this thread when I was cleaning out my tabs, and had a look.
I like it, simple but effective!
