My Limited Collector's Edition Arrived Today...

So today my Limited Exclusive Collector's Edition arrived.



The box is a lot bigger than I thought it would be.



Since I have this now, and seeing as this will be the last Blu-ray/DVD release that Avatar will have, other than the 3D Blu-ray according to James Cameron, I figured it was time for a group shot.



From left to right:

-Extended Blu-ray Collector's Edition.
-Avatar Blu-ray (Barebones April release) with the autograph of Paul Frommer, creator of the Na'vi Language.
-Avatar UK Exclusive Steelbook (Unopened/Sealed). Includes four 3D Art Cards and mini Activist Survival Guide book.
-Avatar UK Limited Exclusive Collector's Edition. (Number 0126 of 1000.)
-Avatar UK Exclusive Steelbook (Opened).
-Avatar Blu-ray (Barebones April release).

I really like your collection. Oh soo very jealous of ur Limited collectors edition though! My extended collectors edition came in an exclusive steel case. if you are collecting copies, maybe you would like one as well. I'll post a link.

But apart from that (which I don't really care of, well, I do, but I'm more glad I got the Limited Edition) the rest is more than I expected.

I was just wondering if all the film cells are the same.. are they? For each boxset. I thought mine was pretty good, that is, if you love Neytiri.

I think all the film cells are the same, as in a picture I saw of them it was Neytiri in war paint looking at you while riding Seze and that's what mine is.

Also, are there different 'levels' of the limited editions? The one I got (Australian) has the same cover art and what I think is the same two-piece type of box but it reads "Extended Collector's Edition" instead of "Exclusive" and has no number on it. It came with the "Making of Avatar" book (well, it's one small book), a film cell (yay, Neytiri) and the "Extended Collector's Edition" Blu-Ray set in it but the cardboard box seems to be about 2/3 of the size of yours... most puzzling.

yes same here mate, im australian as well and mine version is much smaller as well, i havnt even heard of the exclusive version until now and the actual bluray cover is different.
as long as all the content is the same im not fussed.

I believe all the film cells are the same. My film cell is this:



The film cell looks slightly different than the picture though.

I see. I think it would've been better if each boxset had their own unique film cell. Neytiri's great and all but a film cell of Pandora would've been fantastic. Not that I'm disappointed though, I'm still amazed.by it.
