For the Tree of Souls logo, PM Eltu for the .psd file. However, when I PMed him for it when I was doing the alternate header I only got the lettering without the glow behind it, so you'll have to specify to him that you want the glow too.
However, if it's unavailable, the way to make it is to take the lettering and duplicate it. Move the duplicated layer behind the original. Then on the tabs click filter/blur/gaussian blur. Once on the setup screen for that, move the pointer to 8.0 radius, then click Ok. To change the color (since the layer starts out pure white), click the tabs enhance/adjust color/adjust hue/saturation. Move the "lightness" pointer down to about -10 and click Ok. On the tabs, go to enhance/adjust color/color variations, and click however many times for blue and green you want to go into the glow. If it's too bright, adjust the opacity until it looks something like this: ![]() As for the Avatar-Forums logo, for the "Avatar" you have in the picture, just type in the lettering with Papyrus font using some turquoise-like color, bold it, then stretch it to make it look more like the picture. Simplify the layer, then on the tabs go to filter/texture/texturizer. Select the "burlap" texture, make the scaling 200%, and make the relief around a 6. For the glow behind it... I'm not really aware of how to make it do that right now without taking a while, so I'll skip this step (hopefully you don't need the glow behind it at all). For the word "Forums", just find a type that fits what the picture has, simplify it, and stick dark "soft round" brush dots where needs be (like in the pic you have). |

Thats not bad for a start but the text is rather jagged on the edges.
May I suggest: ![]() Compared with old:
