German green party gains massive votes
Just in this hour - German green party gains massively in two elections. In one of the two countries that had elections, they will probably even be able for the first time to determine the prime minister.
Background: In the wake of Fukushima, the conservative government suddenly had a "change of heart" and shut down 7 of their beloved nuclear reactors and claimed to not be in favour of nuclear power anymore. Obviously the people were not fooled by this maneuver and put their voices to the party that had a long time reputation of opposing this dangerous technology - the green party.
