Default Legends of the Guardians

Anyone seen this movie? I saw previews of it before Avatar SE started at the theaters and thought it was interesting. I didn't realize how good it looked until I saw it two days ago on the blu ray. The graphics are simply amazing! The story is pretty good too. Everything looked so realistic.

Naww I really want to see it. It looks amazing. Plus I'm pretty sure it has Aussie actors.

I saw the trailer when I was watching the rerelease of Avatar in cinemas. It looked OK, I guess (well-made anyway), but I never saw it. Maybe I will if I get a chance to though.

Just make sure you watch it in blu ray. It has that same effect avatar has where "you haven't seen it until you see it on blu ray".

3D was probably a heckuva lot better and I just might buy the 3D version when it's time to get my tv.

This movie was amazing. The father of the main character is Elrond. YES!

I was actually very disappointed in this movie. I guess it was because I was holding it to the standard of HTTYD, but I..... really wanted to like this movie, but as soon as they were captured I realized I wouldn't. I think this movie would have been better as a television series. Everything that happened seemed MUCH too rushed, particularly between the brothers.

True, though you could tell straight away that Kludd was a bit different than his siblings. I think the story was really well done, although I haven't read the books so I can't comment on the accuracy. With that said I think the graphics and the animation was spot on. It really was a joy to watch.

Yay Soren!

I agree, the animation and graphics were amazing, especially in 3D. It's mind-blowing.

It's certainly pretty, but I couldn't much get into it.

Watched it about 3 times since I first watched it on pay-per-veiw. I really enjoyed it. I do agree and understand why it wasn't nominated for the accadamy awards, but I enjoy it because it's classic good vs evil and heroes journey. The animation is just mind blowing and the slow-mo action sequences are jaw dropping. I'm curently on number 7 of the book seires (Very different than the movie but I like it very much).

P.S. Owl city was the perfact choice for the featured single. Every time I listen to it, I feel that I can fly.
