Default old but good review of Avatar

I just came across this - have not read it before, though it obviously was written right after the film came out.

Avatar: An Anarcho-Primitivist Picture of the History of the World | Layla.Miltsov.org

Interestingly, a lot of the points in that are similar to what I said on various occasions. So I found it a good read obviously

"Humans are storytellers. These stories then can become our reality. Only when we loose ourselves in the stories they have the power to control us. Our culture got lost in the wrong story, a story of death and defeat, of opression and control, of separation and competition. We need a new story!"

What? That's a terrible review. A good critic analyzis the film, they don't preach to you "what the director meant" or garbage like that. Its exactly like the reviews that try to paint Avatar as a pagan anarchist film of horror. Just because it preaches your views doesn't make it a good piece of writing.

Also, I'd just like to point out, Diamonds aren't a precious resource, they're quite common actually, but a massive cartel controls all the common sources through violence.
