Actually, IMO, you are implicitly, because you're posting. What's the point of posting anything if you don't want to communicate?

It's not specific to Eltu, though. I've seen this sort of thinking all over the place here. "Wah, it's just my opinion, you can't ask me to clarify it!"

This doesn't belong here.

Even if they did clarify, you wouldn't be happy with their clarification and we'd be back where we started, with you asking them to clarify in a way that makes you happy (which isn't going to happen).

^ That. ^ We all think differently, there's limits to how far things can be clarified.

This thread seems somewhat too personal to be appropriate.

I know what you mean Clarke... he spelt "too" wrong.
I'd be frustrated too.

No, it's right. In this case "to" is an adverb referring back to "understand." "Too" would be correct if Eltu was referring to Clarke and himself (such as "not asking you to understand, too"), but since the subject remained singular, it is "to."

y'know what, know that I look at it, you're quite right, sir.

Well... what's frustrating Clarke, then?

Those with too much curiosity are never satisfied, and those with too little can never understand why.
