Oh yes, absolutely inspirational! I love this bit:

I should also resolve to lead a "one-buttock" approach to life henceforth.

Why must things always remind me how awesome instrument the piano is, when the one I have is dysfunctional.

really good talk, that guy was entertaining and had a sense of humour. it's so true what he said though, classical music is for everyone. when i was younger i never thought i would grow up to like it but i do, in particular the piano. it's a great instrument, lots of emotion comes from the piano that no other instrument can create. not good at explaining things so i'll just use an example: i love metal, yes it's awesome, but sometimes classical beats metal. there's a song i love and yes it's an awesome song with low tuned distorted guitars and a cool drum beat, but my favourite thing about it isn't even the metal bit, it's the 2 and half long piano intro. that short piano part is what creates the song for me, it's way more powerful than the remaining 5 minutes of guitars, bass and drums. well, to summarise classical is great and more people should listen to it. thanks for sharing the video

I wish I had taken piano lessons when I was seven years old.

I was taking violin at school, but I was moving ahead faster than the other kids (this was third grade), so my parents got me a private lesson. The whole hour, this guy was trying to make me hold it a certain way and I apparently just couldn't do it I got pissed because we didn't even play anything and quit the lessons. Then, my mom sold my violin
