Default Avatar the Game PC

Thanks to a fellow member on here, I learned how to take some screenshots during the game. Instead of hogging up the thread we were posting in, I figured I'd toss em in here. Didn't know where else to post em....

What it's all about......the destruction...and stopping it...

Catchin some air on my Ikran....

Chillin with her and enjoyin the view of the village...

Under attack........

I died in the attack but Eywa brought me back........

Exploring the dense forest of Pandora...

Gotta love these....

LOL yeah I think it was the moon...but...snapped that right as it was becoming daylight. I had to wait 3 hours for it to turn night.....but it was worth it.

These are from the PC. I also have it on the 360 so I can enjoy it in 3D mode on my 50" plasma. It's simply amazing.

I'm working on maybe getting 3D hardware for the PC too but not till later cuz I'm moving at the moment.

As you progress through the game, you earn different "outfits" that upgrade your armor. The one shown is one of the early armors.

It's worth the $20 it cost. The gameplay is a bit repetitive but scenery and levels are amazing. I've beaten it more times than I can remember so now I just play through it to immerse myself in Pandora.

The game is an interesting one, and a bit weird.

I like Pandora itself there, it has some really beautiful places, especially at night.
On the other hand, the story of the game is awful, and the acting is worse. While the levels are really nice, all the other graphics look like they come from an old console game, with bad models and worse textures. The main character is as generic as you can get and doesn't care about anything, and their attempt at a storyline with all the magic-type rubbish was really half-hearted and badly done, I would have much preferred if they had just left it out and had an excuse storyline like 'now you need to get rid of the marines over there' instead. There are other problems like the ridiculous number of humans in general, but that would be impossible to avoid in a game, so isn't quite as annoying.

i do admit the game story line is awful. i dont like the idea how its set 2 years before the movie. but dont judge the graphics till you play it in 3d. played it in 3d at home on ps3 was beutiful played it on my pc graphics were a little doggy and watched my mate play it on 360 on my 3d tv and the 3d was terrible all up i rekon its still a good play on ps3 and i really enjoyed playing it in 3d on ps3 really made me feel like i was at home

I use the 3D mode on my 50" plasma using the 360 console. It's incredible. Not sure why it was terrible on your mate's 360. Of course the graphics on the 360 aren't as crisp and clear as the PC or maybe the PS3, but the WOW and pop-out factor was insane. Felt like I was actually in the game.

Just random thoughts, any word on modding going about? It's got potential.
