Default This is why I don't talk to myself any more. (Why don't I talk to myself any more?)

Off-balanced,
Un-centered,
Idealistic,
Unrealistic,
Out of touch...

You sit there, the ever influence,
Of the inside of me.
Though since we last spoke,
We separated.

And now, we stand face to face.
Looking into your eyes,
You beg of me release.
To no longer imprisoned,

In silence, isolation.

I can't explain to you why we,
Two of the same,
Were lost to each other,
For so long.

I try, but I can't justify it.
None of it.

When you talk to me,
Past the medium of words, symbols, constructs.
When you wait with me,
Through the dark and the cold.
When you lie with me,
Through the last, lonely revalations of night...

We both realise how the stuation is.

Lost with each other,
Hanging on to anything, with anything.
As we are one and the same.

The reunification is almost...
Painful.
The realisation,
Even worse.

Wow this is a great and moving poem Fkeu. I like how you explored the dual nature of the mind.
