Default Couple things I bought for new apartment...

Moved into a better apartment last week and needed to order some stuff to spice things up....

I found some cool glowing mushrooms that caught my eye on Amazon. Reminded me of Pandora so I ordered up both.

Amazon.com: iBRIGHT- Mushroom light Colorful Night Light, Avatar Mushroom Lamp Nightlight Romantic Light Led Light, Energy-saving Light Sensor Control, Potted Plant Lamp Light: Kitchen & Dining

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005XBK0PG

I think it'll be neat having those glowing at night time. One of them is solar powered so that's pretty cool.

Of course I had to complete my shopping with something Avatar-related and ended up with this:

Amazon.com: Avatar 2012 Wall Calendar (9780810997714): Twentieth Century Fox: Books

Nice, plants always make a house/apartment look a lot better. Those glow in the dark ones are cool, maybe I'll get some for my dorm

Mushrooms are not plants...Fungi belong in their own kingdom.

That said, I think I'd prefer this:

Indeed

Fungi are sort of creepy if you ask me, since they are kind of like people with no blood, zombies as it were. Then again they serve their purpose as so called garbage disposal units, so they don't need to produce their own energy because of that.

That is neat. Do you know what the procedure is to grow em and how long they will stick around? I just gave away alot of my fully grown plants. I had a big jungle in the old apartment but this place is a bit smaller and I had to downsize. I'm missing my "forest" so I need to get some more real plants again.

Wow Ahoragi those look like some great new additions to brighten up the place.
Maybe you could buy one of the Avatar-Flying posters and put it on one of the main walls.

Plastic lights aren't fungi either

No, but I was saying he should get some plants cause they make apartments/houses look nice.
