Avatar Inspired Necklaces
So since the new year, I've been in a highly creative mode, in the process of creating some Avatar inspired necklaces. I'm mostly using second hand neclaces of mainly natural materials, bone, wood, shells and recreating them into unique inspirations. I'm in the designing stage of the process right now, but thought I would upload some images of my layout ideas. I still have to rewire or restring them, with a few modifications and add the feathers and such. But generally each piece will be quite similar to the layout design.
(and for those that ask, IT's a water bottle,  )Further after completing the necklaces, I'm going to incorporate them to 'hang' on my paintings in such way, that they can either be an art piece, or the neclace can be removed to be worn, when wanted. I'm also goint to title each piece with a Na'vi name, although at this time, I haven't decided on ones yet. Yes eventually they will be for sale, but that's a bit of way's off, i probably wont' have the whole process done until March or so. So here's a sampling of my first seven designs, at the layout stage. I hope everyone enjoys~  [   This one below, won't be including the animal symbols after the restringing, and possibly less feathers  This next one, will have a lot more of the white feathers on it, I just couldn't get them to stay in place on the model.  These next two below, will be quite a bit different, as when i go to resting, I will be using the bracelet (on the nape of the bottle) in the design, and the shell pendulum will be either hung higher or lower.   And my last one, will be less conjested up at the neck, but still flowing

:') to all, thank you, so much for the positive comments and encouragement, i'm just thrilled that everyone has enjoyed them, and I am even more inspired to get them finished.
Its quite a fun project to be working on, and even my dreams have become filled with all sorts of inspirations for the projects, its like every night I'm off to Pandora to 'see' and design them there, and come back in the morning here to Gaia, to make them!
