Kaltxì ma Dakar,
tbh I'm a bit confused, because you talked about plural - but everything you mentioned afterwards has nothing to do with plural ![]() fighting and fighter aren't the plural of (a) fight. They are derived words (from the verb "to fight"), and so is the noun "fight", afaIk. We talked about gerunds and two other {verb}ing-forms of verbs here http://www.tree-of-souls.com/navi_la..._lu_mowan.html if you remember (especially the verb "to swim" has been mentioned there) ![]() To quote Tirea Aean: Quote:
1. tì-w<us>em (as in "fighting isn't fun") 2. w<us>em-a palulukan (the fighting Thanator) 3. oe w<er>em (I am fighting [right now]) fighter would be wemyu (wem-yu). And (a) fight would be... säwem... I guess Oo (sä- instead of tì-, because sä- is more "concrete", less "abstract" than tì-... according to Karyu Pawl: Trr Asawnung Lefpom! Happy Leap Day! | Na) A quick guide to plural: http://www.tree-of-souls.com/navi_la...ns_number.html So: wemyu - (one) fighter mewemyu - two fighters pxewemyu - three fighters aywemyu - (more than 3 / indefinite amount of / many) fighters And if säwem is correct (I'm nearly convinced of that it is) it ought to be: säwem - a fight mesäwem - two fights pxesäwem - three fights aysäwem - (more than 3 / indefinite amount of / many) fights If you're pluralizing nouns: don't forget about lenition. Hope I could help.
