Anyone else has seen the film? I thought it was pretty enjoyable, especially in 3D. There were some creative liberties taken with the physics and orbital inclinations, but I can suspend my disbelief for the rule of drama, and the fact that it looked so...pretty. Physics for the most part is pretty good (some noticeable liberties taken, but nothing disastrous). Angular momentum appears to be your number one enemy in zero g. Though Sandra Bullock's character just seems way too panicky (dare I say incompetent) to be an astronaut, but then you need drama and tension one way or another, right?

Yeah, I saw Gravity, but not in 3D. I agree that there was a lot of great scenery, and excellent crashing of people into space stations. The music wasn't bad either. But I too thought Sandra Bullock's character was rather pathetic.
And the symbolism stuck out like the proverbial sore thumb. I honestly can't see why Gravity has become so big.

I'm sorry, but there's an irony to the post on an Avatar forum that I just can't let go by without mention. |

I remember my first viewing of Gravity. It was a stressful experience because Gravity is designed to be really stressful. It was interesting, but I'd never own the movie or try to see it again.

I bought it the day it came out and thought it was alright.

Never found myself watching this - I generally prefer less suspense-filled movies, or at least ones where suspense isn't the main appeal of the movie, but perhaps one day I'll give it a watch
