i guess this'll be the place to dump all my avatar related fan art? there's not a whole lot atm but that's only because i find na'vi an absolute pain the butt to draw. i either put the ears too low on the head or the neck too short or the head slightly too big for their proportions and it drives me BONKERS having to go back and edit it.

BUT i'm getting more used to drawing them so that's a good thing.



this is tukru, whose name i pulled off the na'vi language article on the wiki, and means "spear". the humans alternately call him "scar face" or "snagglepuss". i literally only made him three days ago so he's p flat at the moment. all i have down concretely are:
-hates being touched w/out his permission. literally full-body flinches and jumps if you so much as tap him on the shoulder
-doesn't really like being around people for very long. pretty introverted as far as na'vi go.
also no, that isn't an actual na'vi spear. i couldn't find anything about na'vi spears so i yanked one from world of warcraft that looked like it might fit. also technically it's a polearm but screw it i'm calling it a spear.



this is a crazy old pic from like, 2012. i was trying to figure out a way to make na'vi work w/ how i draw things, and just get used to drawing them at all.

These are nice sketches yrel. It makes me want to try to draw Neytiri, but when I actually attempt it things don't turn out quite as I had imagined.
