So we have a new actor signing up for a main character. No known information about if he's playing a na'vi or a human.

well I'm an idiot though with all the popups I probably missed it. Still its good that we're going to see them expanding the cast. Wonder if they will have a Polynesian theme to them?

Edit, also noticed that his characters name is similar to a city in Burma where the world na'vi also came from. Coincidence?

I doubt it's a coincidence that he's a Polynesian (Māori, specifically) portraying the clan leader of the Reef People. I'm anxious to see who else has been cast. The only thing else that I know is that Sigourney Weaver is coming back as a different character.
