Arrow Would You Become A Na'vi On Earth?

On AF there was a thread in the Science Forum about work by scientists to bioengineer Na'vi on Earth.

http://www.avatar-forums.com/science...avis-labs.html

In time, we may also develop the ability to transfer minds from one body to another. Do you see where I am taking this...?

So would you do it? I personally would! I'm kinda short and skrawny; what I wouldn't give to be tall and strong! Plus I want to live in the wild, and it would be a lot easier in a resilient, tall, strong body.

Plus I want a tail.

Instantly.

Blue skin, tail, those beautiful ears and eyes, strength and height, and of course, a queue... What's not to like?
I'd like it most if there were other Na'vi (tsahaylu ), but even being the only one would be fine for me.

i'd instantly (same as HNM ) but, it's difficult to find and environment that looks like Pandora, im not talkin about a place where you can find floating mountains, or thanators or stuff like that, im talkin about the nature that surrounds you, the trees i have a really good picture that reminds me to Pandora everytime i look at it, fortunately it's here in Chile (FTW )

and well ... i think most of us would like to be and live like the Na'vi, but is not only to wake up in a forest, you need to know what and how to do there, fortunately i know so im ready

I can't believe we need a thread about this, the answer is universal.

I would, no doubt about it. Provided that I have all the attributes of a Na'vi and suffer no concequences from the different air composition and the increased gravity.

I would right now... seriously. I've always wanted adventure in my life. Its not like I imagine myself as one pretty much every day. I'll have to expand when I get home from college I'm at work right now but hands down I would

I imagine what it would be like, all the time. When I'm running, I always think about how much better it would be having a Na'vi's strength and size. I also keep catching myself thinking about what my tail would be doing at random times, or my ears

*commits blasphemy by not being an unconditional yes*

I'm far too methodical to make a decision like that without having 'read the manual' (knowing everything about Na'vi + Earth's environment which we may never know canonically) so to speak. So I guess my point is that I'd discuss it to death before deciding what to do...

Right now I am going out on a limb here and saying NO to becoming at Na'vi on earth at this time or in the forseeable future. I believe the people of earth are not yet ready to accept any species so similar to a human, yet so different. There is still wayyyyy too much prejudice, hate and distrust. There are too many religious groups that would
label us as non-believers -to whatever religion they think is the 'only' true one and try to 'convert' us. Psychologists, anthropologists, and all the 'ologists' who would think we are 'primitive, backwards, etc...' would try to change us into 'civilized' people.
We would never be allowed to live as Na'vi should. We could try to hide, to take ourselves away from humanity, but you can bet they would hunt us down.
I would become an Na'vi instantly, but only on Pandora, where I would be allowed to live as the true Na'vi do.
I have said that I am negotiating with god. In the next lifetime I want to be tall and thin. Now I will just add - BLUE.
