Endgame is the 22nd and final film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the mind-blowing sequel to Infinity War. it releases worldwide on April 26th. all films occurring after Endgame, are in the Cosmic Universe going forward. i have been watching all the films since the first Iron Man in 2008, and all the films led to Infinity War and it's shocking conclusion. Endgame is the future.

^ he'll be back. he's in Spiderman Far From Home (2019, Sony in July) and FFH is said to happen just after the events of Endgame. FFH will be the first film in the new Cosmic Universe.

I got three tickets. April 25th, April 28th and May 1st. I'm definitely going to see this at least five times, maybe more depending on how good Detective Pikachu and John Wick chapter 3 are.

I'm two hours away from seeing it for the first time. I have a bad feeling it's going to overtake Avatar in terms of worldwide box office. My local theater will be showing it 24 hours a day in 2d, 3d and fake IMAX starting today. I have three tickets, although I don't know if I am contributing to it's box office totals. I have AMC A-list, so I don't pay for my tickets, I pay for a monthly membership.

I think Avengers: Endgame is going to break Avatar's worldwide box office.
![]() Just from Thursday and Friday you're already over six hundred million dollars worldwide. That's not actually the reason I think it's going to break Avatar's record. The third act of the film is immensely re-watchable. The reason Avatar is the #1 highest grossing movie of all time is because of how re-watchable it is. People went to see it and then they went to see it again. And again. And again. I think Endgame is going to have those kind of legs. |

I haven't seen any Avengers films. Perhaps I should start.

There are so many callbacks and easter eggs, you would need to basically see all of the Marvel cinematic universe movies to get the significance of everything.
Endgame really is the culmination of the MCU franchise. This is why so many reviews I've seen on youtube say something along the lines of 'If this was the last Marvel movie, I'd be okay with it.' |

yeah, i think it will either pass Avatar or come very close to $2.7bil. Endgame is awesome, i have seen it twice now, and going back again! it is tracking for record $358mil USA opening weekend, and over $700mil in international boxoffice already, we are looking at a billion dollar opening weekend!

Finally saw it, awesome way to cap off the MCU. Not sure where (and if) they can go from here.
Lots of interesting ideas, character moments and epic actions scenes. |

My guess is an extended break after the Spider-Man movie. There will be a Guardians of the Galaxy 3 (that takes place in space), Black Panther 2 (that takes place in Wakanda) and Black Widow (that takes place in the past). Basically three movies that lets them avoid showing the ramifications of Endgame on the western world. They'll have a solid year (or two) to get their ducks in order and they can go from there with or without Spider-man. Sony's deal with Marvel allowing them to use the Spider-Man character apparently finishes with Far From Home, so it's possible we may not see Tom Holland again in the MCU.

Yeah the one thing that really annoyed me about the movie was how it failed to show how really screwed the world would be if 50% of the population just died. (apart from a bit where they hint at it but then seem to change direction/tone). Or when they fix things.
