I wonder if we went there if we would destroy that planet just like we are doing to this one? It sounds like the movie avatar but in real life. I'm sure the first thing we would do is claim it for ourselves, unless we some how realize how important nature is. Either that or it would be pre occupied with an advanced race and end up in war and chaos... the human race can be a plague.

If the race inhabiting it was advanced, believe me, no one would be that stupid to wage war on their own territory. A primitive race would be removed, because they don't have much to offer and they aren't much of a threat. That's how it works.
