I didn't realize how big those helmets are until I seen them on the manikin head just now.

I had no idea they were based off of real props first either! How I wish I could have Neytiri's stuff, talk about cosplay perfect!! *_* Or even to take a good look at it. Anyone find clearer pics of these anywhere else?

Haha, nice! I remember this being this posted before, though. Not sure where...

The only problem I have with that display is the fact that they misspelled choker! (chocker)
There is a Costume and clothing design college in Los Angeles that houses the costume collections of movies that are up for awards during Oscar month. I was able to go up and see the entire Star Wars collection a few years ago and it was fantastic!
I would have given almost anything to go up and see the Avatar collection...if they had it.
Of course they had to have physical models for them to wear! Here's a comparison for you, check out the so called 'official' Neytiri necklace (the green stone choker) compared to the actual one in that display. Not too accurate for being 'official'.
The feather necklace and bracelets I would love to see up close being a jewelry person myself.
Maybe in four years when the next movie comes out I'll keep an eye out for any costume and prop tours that might be happening.

Oh the one bummer about the Star Wars exhibit was no flash photography was allowed due to the sophisticated alarm system. The flash would mess it up.
I got very few photos that were worth looking at but it was still amazing to see the items no more than five feet from my face!
