- As others have said the Earth is nowhere near being overpopulated. Those individuals on the world stage who talk about overpopulation have a Sinsiter global agenda. These poeple do not really care about the world's resources, or overpopulation, all they really care about is world power, and control of the masses.

Get real, the Western world has had available contraceptives in abundance, and yet, unwanted pregnancies, abortions and rate of STD infections all continue to rise, obviously contraception is not the answer.

Get real, it's still far better than undeveloped nations, the main reason for failure is lack of education, and in America, restriction by certain political interests (which ties into lack of education)

Furthermore, limiting the number of children people are allowed to have is not a morally sound option, and it is not necessary, the world is not overpopulated.

So where is all that rainforest going? Why are there wars over oil? Why do countries focus on exporting food for money when they could instead focus on becoming self-sufficient when just about everyone can? - if not on the country scale then on the continent scale, with the exception of Antarctica (which has no or nearly no permanent residents anyway)
