How about "Fresh Meat" instead of lurker. In reference to one of the worst lines in the movie, from one of the most annoying characters.

So I was brain storming a bit more on lower ranks and came up with this:

<5 - New Recruit
5 - Sky person
15 - Avatar Driver
25 - Dreamwalker
etc

That would make for 21 ranks. Thoughts?

instead of new recruit or lurker, wouldn't outsider work?

Perhaps it would work. That also gives me an idea. Ketuwong is the Navi term for "alien". Ketuwong could fill for the lowest rank.

A dreamwalker refers to the avatar itself. An avatar driver is the human driving the avatar. An avatar cannot drive its own avatar. To become an dreamwalker, you first have to become an avatar driver. By definition, Jake Sully and Norm were "avatar drivers" several years before they could be properly referred to as dreamwalkers.
