Incorrect. Space is a near vacuum, so despite being very cold, there is little to actually lose your heat to, so cooling is slow. You would freeze eventually but you would be long dead from suffocation and your lungs and other internal organs being destroyed if you held a breath in. You could cook if you were close to a star. Depending on how close to an object you are though, you could be killed by reentry if it had an atmosphere, or just killed by impact/crushed by high gravity if not, although you'd likely suffocate before that point.
