Two-mile-high mountains discovered in Saturn's rings
This is way too amazing... I'm kinda surprised noone noticed this till now... Thoughts?

Well, they're a mountain pattern. I dont think there's really anything solid, as we know solid. Lots of little bits in a holding pattern.

Yeah.
It's a shame that there's probably no really stable solids in there, because I could think of no more incredible space mission within our solar system than a landing in the rings of Saturn.

There are as there are even moons within Saturn's rings, but the problem is getting anywhere near them without getting destroyed by debris, plus there is the problem of radiation from Saturn itself.
