We need to do something to celebrate our 1 year Avatar anniversaries.

December 28 for me. And I still remember that day so clearly, and how I found AF a couple days later.

I'm thinking that when it comes time, we have a thread where we each post on the one-year anniversary of our first Avatar viewing, and say what that day was like for ourselves and how we've personally grown since then and what we hope to do in the future. Just to ceremonially mark the occasion or something like that.

It's been 11 months since I saw for the first time. I think i I first saw it on December 23 but I can't be sure because I can't find my tickets. Now its aproching it's first aniversary and I'm getting the DVD on Tuesday. I'm not too unhappy that I won't see whats in pandoras box in the blu-ray because I might get the making of Avatar book for Cristimas

Only been 6 months since I saw Avatar for the first time but it seems to have gone so quickly. 2010 has been without doubt the happiest year of my life thanks to Avatar, AF and TOS. I know now what's important, my first 17 years of living in society couldn't achieve what a 2 and a half hour masterpiece did.

Thank Eywa for Avatar and for all you people! I would never have believed a film and a forum could cause such changes in me but here I am a new person

*raises glass* cheers!

It's been almost 11 for me too and honestly, it doesn't even feel like any time has really passed. And yet - it also somehow feels like an eternity and a day has gone by. I'm such a different person to what I used to be that when I look back, I don't even recognise who I was before all this. It's been a rollercoaster of the highest highs and the sharpest, most crushing lows and everyone here has been a huge source of support, inspiration, love, acceptance and that ultimate clan feeling that I hope goes on for years to come. I also hope that the people here take that step to help change our world into something that we all can be proud of and our world of us as a species. A place that has the same feeling of love and closeness that we share, and a place that's like the dream that lies within all of our hearts.

Anyway, after that mini speech...

I like the sound of a 1-year anniversary party.

I know everyone hates tinychat, but how about we all create a room and have a huge video party? Just a thought.

It's been 10 months for me as well. January 1st will have been a year. Isn't it awesome to think how with in a year we've all become better people? And by extension of that, made the world a better place. I'm glad to be a part of that. Irayo ma smuk!
