Because I am in the process of moving right now, I have yet to order the Blu-ray/DVD package from Amazon. Though I should have it ordered by next week.

Really, I don't know why all the definition stuff when the important thing is the story. When you're watching the Jake's first flight scene you don't care about th 1080 lines.

Just wondering. Anyway, I'll get the DVD as soon as I am able to for sure!
To some people, in order for them to get the experience from watching Avatar, they need to watch it in high definition. It's like people who love music - it's not music if it's not cranked up all the way. Avatar, to me, would not be the same if there was no music (like watching the destruction of Hometree without the music).

Cameron commented on this subject before and suggested people who can get a big TV to get one. It's not the same experience on a small TV for some people.

EDIT: Just found this
