I just watched Avatar to get PAE to write my feelings truely. On a daily basis, I'm usually depressed because of what I learned about how much hometree ment to the Na'vi. The more I learn about hometree's purposes, the more depressed and upset I get because more and more things I learned are gone and Jake has to live with an unredeemable deed for the rest of his life. Then I realize... life goes on. I Remind myself, Like a hero emerging from the ashes, a new life will emerge from the ashes of yesterday. I think agian about Jake's deeds, He gathers what he has left to prevent the corporation from dealing even more pain to the planet. He even mends the wounds Neytiri received in his baytarel. She forgivies him and they can actully start their new life together. And for those who have died eather from murder or in battle, Eywa has them taken care of. They will be waiting for the others when their time comes to see them again. In the end, everyone is OK.
Like in many Sci-fi films, Human civailzation's great symbols of thier past are washed away. I realize that anyone can move on in the aftermath of a disaster. And the Na'vi ecxel at craeting homes with only what is provied to them. They can restart their lives with a new home (even though it may not be in a 400 meter tall tree anymore). I think with these reminders, I believe I can help alot of peple who have PAD from reflecting on the destruction. Just remember, "The forest will heal" and life goes on.
