Stanley, I have to disagree with this. Jake is no way responsible for the fall of Hometree. That tree was gone, with or without Jake's presence on Pandora. RDA was beelining its way with bulldozers to Hometree to get the Unobtainium way before Jake set foot on Pandora.

Other than that, I agree with your thoughts.

Cheers!

Thats exactly what I think. The RDA is reposable sololy because they used Jake as leverage to get the job done more quickly. When the Na'vi were angry when Jake told the truth, they thought he was just another dirt bag as all of the other Sky people and tided him up. I could only think how wrong they were when Jake came back. They didn't give him a chance to help them. When Mo'at finally gave them a chance to help by cutting them loose, I thought "Finally, Thank you" because they wanted to help, but the Na'vi didn't let them. Some of the blam for the dead is actually their's when you think about it because Grace and Jake told them they were coming and they wanted them to go to because they didn't want them to die, but they thought they were just the same, careless, heartless mercaless killers as the rest of the skypeople. Jake didn't know what he was getting into until it was to late

With the numbers they had at the time? I doubt it. The needed a toruk makto to get the numbers to kick them of. In the beginning of the Dream hunt deleted scene, he said that he was in a gaint pickal because if he told the truth, he would be screwed eather way. Even if he told the truth and warned them, they would have thought he was a propaganda tool and would have ignored him and would still stand to see their home be abliterated.

Sure, scars will remain for a while, but that mustn't keep you from living the rest of your life. Try to think in possitive terms about in the end. The RDA is gone, and the rest of Pandora is safe from it. We must not dwell in the past, we need to focus in the present. A new life awats, and Jake is taking it.

Edit: a request for future posters
I created this thread to lighten people's feelings of dispair from hometree, but now that your mentioning scars, it's heading in the negative derection again. So can we move from the nagative side to the positive side? I would like that because I want reasurence that I wrote a good thread. I stood up until 10:00 forming my words. Thank you.
