The Hunt festival is one I utterly, utterly adore - it shows the clan, it shows Jake bonding with the clan, it shows his relationship with Tsu'Tey being more complicated than the movie, it has Grace and Norm with the clan, DRINKING, and the Jake/Neytiri dancing, where you can really see their spark.

My other fav ones are Norm's rant in "Interspecies Booty Call" - it adds a lot to his character, again makes him more complicated, and "We're Buying Time" has to be my all time favourite. Trudy and Jake bound together by guilt and espionage! Trudy/Norm being all smiley and cute! Trudy standing on her head! And. Yes. I love it so.

That's a great scene, but I don't think it's really a deleted scene since it made it to the special edition that was in theaters. Good scene though. Unfortunately I had it accidently spoiled for me before I seen it.

Exactly! That would have been good to show in the movie because in the scene where Jake is calling him "brother", it might not make sense to people since most of the prior scenes with Jake and Tsu 'Tey were scenes in which Tsu ' Tey is being mean to Jake. I also kinda think this scene makes the Tsu 'Tey being angry about Jake and Neytiri mating make more sense because when she wanted Jake to dance, Tsu 'Tey didn't quite look happy about it. So it kinda gives the feeling that Tsu 'Tey being unhappy about Jake and Neytiri has been brewing for a while.

Oooh, I loved "We're buying time"... it's a great scene for both Trudy and Jake. This scene, as well as the link-trailer portion of the dreamhunt, are really great for depicting the awful dilemma that they're in, especially Jake. Also, I think it was some of Sam Worthington's best acting, so I'm sad these scenes weren't included in the CE cut.

Trudy standing on her head was so random and awesome. :-p

Norm's added screen-time really enhances his character, I think. I loved his random, goofy song-and-dance when he finds out they're going to the Hallelujah Mountains. "We're goin' to the mooooountains!" :-D

You came back
How do you make up after you've done the unforgivable? Jake and Neytiri have a conversation in the wake of Hometree's destruction, during their first real moment alone following his return as Toruk Makto.

The Last Train Home
Fourteen years after the war, a lone spaceship appears in the sky. The former members of the Avatar program watch its approach – expecting the worst, fearing for their adopted home. Then the ship lands. And suddenly, nothing makes sense anymore.

Five seconds too late
This is a different kind of Jake/Neytiri romance, the story that would've unfolded had she been delayed for just five seconds while trying to reach him following the fight with Quaritch.
