He's baddass for doing it, but seriously, it could have been done better :/ May do a photoshop of what I'd ideally love to see as an avatar tattoo. Congrats to the guy who did it though!

Yes it is hard to see them on your back, but he probably does it because it's a big open area for the tattoos. The chest & stomoch area would work too but that wouldn't look well.

They are not fake. All of the tattoos except for the top one are tattoos he has had for a while, he didn't just get them or something, most are kinda old. He is just now getting his 8th Avatar tattoo. When he gets a new Avatar tattoo it generates a little buzz. He got his 7th one a few months ago I think it was.

As for them healing, it depends how old they are, that ikran one looks recently done to me, the others have faded a bit but that can be either due to being badly done (which I suspect) or not having been taken care of properly after it was done, for the first couple of weeks then it it is important to or some colour will be lost (and also afterwards but to a lesser degree). There is no way to have a fake tattoo that lasts anywhere NEAR as long as his tattoos anyway.

So I've been thinking, I amgoing to get a few tattoos once I turn 18. I was thinking of some Christian tats (self choice) and maybe some Na'vi tats. like say the symbol for the Na'vi from the game, and maybe a few phrase. Please feel free to offer suggestions.
