I used to be a die hard NBA fan but the thrill died when MJ retired. Maybe it will be resurrected when someone of his caliber is discovered. The "new modern" nba just doesn't entertain me.

Can't even be compared, especially since I believe Lebron is better than Kobe.

Anybody see the huge trade that went down yesterday??? My favorite player Gilbert goin to the Magic with Jason Richardson and Hedo!!! That team is gonna be a contender with the Celtics and Heat in the East now.

Well I mean with Dwight Howard, they're a perennial contender for the Eastern title as it is...this is an improvement now from their NBA Finals team 2 years ago, so we'll see, should be competitive year for the playoffs.

I thought Rajon Rondo had a decent chance to challenge Stockton's record for assists per game in a season, but the last several weeks have put me in doubt. He'll need to average close to 17 assists per game over the next 32 games in order to match Stockton's 14.5 assists per game.
