Someone has a copy of the original Avatar forums back in February, with all the posts and stats still the same, I can't remember who though...

I see every watch as the first time... Since the emotional impact is always the same I think this is also some way to keep the magic alive

Thanks to anyone and everyone who's made this whole experience what it is. Whether you're one of the original AF stalwarts or one of the newer ToS'ers...I'll always appreciate the wisdom you've shared, whether its related to Avatar or not, and thanks to all who have helped me when I've sought it, whether what you did was great or small...gosh I just feel glad to be here right now.

Man I really don't even want to think about that. I probably would still be playing WAY WAY to much online gaming and would probably be way less happy a person that I am now. Avatar changed my entire perspective on life and what it can be and is meant to be. Avatar inspired me to learn how to lucid dream, learn as much as I can about astronomy, deeply reflect on how we are treating the earth, deeply reflect and understand how screwed up our society is, and learn many more scientific and philosophical things. This has been the most significant year for me in all my 19 years and it is just the beginning. I never want to stop learning all I can and living each day to the fullest extent possible!!! All of this directly because of Avatar! Incredible.

Its been an amazing year . I am happy to have found Avatar Forums and TOS and I have met some really great people on here. Sure, there have been some peaks and valleys (I understand the symbolic heart on one of the pics on the banner). Avatar has changed me too. It has awakened in me a part of myself that laid kinda dormant for a while which I am glad is back . I hope that 2011 will be an even better year and I hope that we can become a closer family.

It feels good to be home after a long day of work...

I spent the last few hours listening to the Avatar Full Score while staring at the stars that decorate my ceiling; thinking about every single day that has passed since I first saw Avatar.

I thought about my first viewing, the PAD and PAE trips that I have embarked on, I thought about the events that have taken place from my first viewing until now, remonissing about drawing Jake and Neytiri in my spanish class, writing a script for my Avatar short film, meditating in the forests while listening to the Score, joining ToS and A-F...finding a community that surprisingly made me realize that I was not the only one who had the same feelings, I thought about how this film emotionally affects me like no other, how this film stands out among every single other, I thought about building up hype to the SE during the summer, reading new threads about "this SE trailer, that SE trailer," watching the SE itself on the 27'th, watching the CE on the 16'th, and all-in-all how THIS FILM has affected me EVERY SINGLE DAY, and still continues to do so.

This film changed my life - our lives forever.
We would not be here right now had this film not been made.
I want to thank all of you for making this what it is. Irayo to James Cameron, and irayo to all of you.

I can toast to that, HotG!

Everyday, it still amazes me just how much Avatar has effected all of us and how it has allowed us to come together. This has never happened to me before, and I'm sure that's the same for everyone else here, too.

Common emotions...
Common dreams...
Common loves...
Common wants and needs...

...brought together by a common movie, one year ago today.

There has to be a connection, there has to be. Never before have I known a group of people who I can unquestionably and truthfully say I See.

So many people all sharing their memories and thoughts... it makes me so happy how we are not alone, as far away as we all are.
Avatar is an experience, there is nothing else like it. It continuing just shows how strong it is and that it will always be part of us

You said it Tsyal. I just wish I know what it was that we all shared within us that made us all connect with this film. Do we all have a common personality triat that gives us that connection to Avatar and each other? Duno? It remains elusive...

I have just found myself meeting so many wonderful good people on the forum. I feel so privileged to have been able to share time with them...with you all. Irayo.
