It's good to see someone open to help, and there are definitely a lot on here willing to help. As far as my understanding of Asperger syndrome goes, your mind becomes fixated on things easier, correct? And as you've said, in this case it happens to be the "bad" scenes of Avatar. Really the easiest explanation to this specific part of your feelings would be to try and remember the bigger picture. Through our struggles we become stronger. Just as that is true IRL, this is true in Avatar. These scenes you speak of are completely necessary to point out that Jake and the Na'vi overcome these struggles and are eventually victorious. Wouldn't be much of a movie if the RDA just decided that Jake was right and they should leave Pandora, right? That's what you should work on overcoming as far as the actual movie goes.

As far as within yourself, this is something many of us have seen through PAD. Before I go any further with this aspect of it, I need to make sure you're willing to be helped, and if not, I completely understand...not many people are going to tell you what's going on in their head over a website. But if you are willing to move forward, I first need to know what caused this episode of "PAD." For some of us it was regrets, some it was recent obstacles we've had to overcome...but for most, we all just looked inside ourselves and felt a little down. The real question is, can you overcome this obstacle like any other in life? And we're here to help you with that question...I'm sure that others will post similarly here, but if you could expand on what caused you to feel down, that would be tremendously helpful to us.

I definatly can overcome it. It's just these feelings come over me like a brick sometimes. I just probelbly need some way to try and prevent these feelings from sticking for a while and try and think of the end result. I know that it wouldn't be a story with the conflict of being cought in the middle and you were to later to prevent bloodshed. I have read and seen a lot of storys simular to this were a demoralizing blow was delt to innocent people and a hero emerges to vanquish the thugs who beat them up and afterwards he leads them to a better tomarrow. I guess the thing that bothers me the most is that Irreplaceable things are destroyed. But I believe that in the end, since the events have already traspered, it would have best be ended in the way that it happened.

"The forest will heal... and so will the hearts of the people."
That better tomarrow is already coming.

That right there is a step in the right direction. Having the feelings is fine, if we didn't have any feelings like that, would we ever improve ourselves? I doubt it. But as long as you know what you are feeling and why, then you're moving in the right direction. If not, that's where we can help, and that's where a lot of people needed help long, long ago...
