New Na'Vi Words.

Man, how I wish I had time to really learn this in a structured manner.

Personally, I'm waiting for a word for "storm", "thunder" or "lightning".

A username change might follow if this occurs............

There are lots of words I'd like to see:

Names for Polyphemus and the other moons of Polyphemus and the two other stars in the Alpha Centauri system
Tree based words (bark, gall)
Cardinal directions of some kind
Clothing (they wear loincloths but as yet we have no word for them)
Hole, valley (we have a word for well but not for hole!)
Spring (if they have a word for wells they should have a word for springs)
Earthy words - clay, sand, loam, humus, forest litter etc
Volcano (lots of volcanoes on Pandora)
to rot, to decay (must have a word for this)
to climb (I will (what?) Iknimaya)
to swim (Jake had to (what?) to get out of the river)
to swing (Neytiri decided to (what?) from the branch)
more body words -internal organs, scars, muscles etc
Hammock (where do I sleep?)
Flute (the blue (what?) clan)

Sometime pretty soon a Na'vi Vocabulary Committee will be created, to which anyone can submit ideas for new words.

If you feel up to it, you can try to create Na'vi words for some of the above, and submit them once the committee goes live.

Ok so yeah. We actually have MANY more words since this thread was last updated. You can find ALL new words Frommer's blog which is http://naviteri.org as they are released. I cant believe this link was not published here yet. (Or did I miss it?) A lot of you may be interested to go get a new copy of the dictionary and see that many of the words you were looking for are in there now.
