Tea Partiers have no political authority. They just talk and influence, just like any other group. As for presidents, even Bush claimed he was a Christian... yeah. I can believe that for two seconds.

Btw, Republicans suck. They're Clinton Christians. (Clinton always had a Bible at his desk for show; but he never touched it or referred to it. Hence the term used by some, "He's got a Clinton Bible.")
