Being a republican doesn't necessarily make you a Christian. Being a Conservative, probably, but "republicans" aren't. Even during the Bush administration, when republicans were a striking majority, did the government act that *Christian*? Not really. Maybe with abortion, but that's just about the only Christian thing Bush did in both terms.
