Better be careful your eyes don't freeze over at that ridiculous temperature... I don't think I would go outside with it being less than -10

What kind of plan do you have should you get hurt? A simple twisted ankle could become a life and death situation. While I don't currently own a pair of snowshoes I am a die hard adventurer into the places less traveled. It really caused my wife considerable worry because I'm more or less always out of cell range when I'm out doing the things that I love. Now I have one of those SPOT satellite messengers and just being able to let my wife know that I'm OK has been totally worth the cost.

I'm also a bit of a "peak freak." Looks like you had a great time.

It's nice to meet another peak freak.

Yeah I have put some thought into it, I'm always careful when I go out by myself and don't take any risks. I have thought about the gps locators, but they are somewhat expensive. My phone has built in gps that can be tracked if necessary so I guess it is better than nothing, and I get service in a lot of the places I go.
