I think we have the first film to blame for getting us involved with the whole John Smith + Pocahontas story (which never really happened; they were just acquainted). We need a better love story film about Pocahontas and John Rolfe... like "The Young Victoria". At least that movie incorporated a love theme where it was needed, and didn't just revert to the old Hollywood scheme of "If it's royalty, they're never in love," when that's just not true in some cases.

yeah i read about it on wiki, she actually married john wolfe and had a kid together, on their way back to america she got sick and died :|
