Avatar Fan Convention/Meet Up - Questionnaire to Fill in Now!

Appologies for the multiple posting of this message, but it is to capture as many of you as possible!

A number of us Avatar fans have been considering the possibility of bringing the clans together to a meet-up, convention or pre-organised convention. However, before anyone puts effort into organising such an event it would be a good idea to gauge the level of interest.

To help get this level of understanding a simple ten question survey has been pulled together. You can take part in the survey by clicking on the link below:

It will take less than five minutes to answer.

The closing date for the survey is 4th February 2011, which gives you a week to take part. After which we will collate the data an publish the results as soon as we can.

There is no guarantee that an Avatar meet-up or convention will happen, but the survey will help to decide if we can take our forum clans to a whole new level. Irayo for you time.

Made some activity suggestions:

Astronomy night, hiking, Avatar related debates, singing Na'vi songs around a bonfire, Avatar quizzes, plays in Na'vi, Na'vi language games, climbing, archery lessons.

Food and drink:
various exotic brightly coloured fruit
'kava' (someone should come up with a fun recipe!)
'teylu' (cooked witchetty grubs wrapped in vine leaves or something)
'yerik' (venison)
jujubees
light beer
coffee in RDA mugs
tequila
microwaveable meals in plastic packets

Sounds yummy...I think! Really good suggestion there. Could set it out like the Avatar canteen...or something.

Just though folks might like to know that we have had 50 responses so far to the survey. Not bad for one day. But we need more people to take part.

So it would be great if you could let your forum friends know about the survey and encourage them to take part and pass on their thought. In order for such an event to take place we need a good sample of people to give any organisers confidence that their event would be attended and a success.

Thanks to everyone who has taken part. Hopefully in a week's time we will be able to pull the results together to share. In the meantime lets try to get as many complete the survey as possible. Irayo.
