I think we have the first film to blame for getting us involved with the whole John Smith + Pocahontas story (which never really happened; they were just acquainted). We need a better love story film about Pocahontas and John Rolfe... like "The Young Victoria". At least that movie incorporated a love theme where it was needed, and didn't just revert to the old Hollywood scheme of "If it's royalty, they're never in love," when that's just not true in some cases.
yeah i read about it on wiki, she actually married john wolfe and had a kid together, on their way back to america she got sick and died :|

I had been wanting to see Inception for a while...well last night I saw it. Except I really didn't; if you can believe it, I was actually dreaming that I was watching Inception.

So I finally rented it off of iTunes this afternoon and saw the real movie. Great film, but my mind is all "Whoooaaa..." at the moment. At least now I don't have to worry about avoiding the Inception thread here on ToS.

And now I just finished watching Moon.

Good movie; a bit sad in some spots.

It's not amazing, obviously it's a drama/kinda thriller so... y'know. I wasn't motivated enough to see it by myself, but eventually a friend threw it on so I had to watch it. Apart from the end, the entire thing was an okay movie.

Just finished watching half of "The Brothers Grimm".

Good... God. I can't get through it. What a terribly God-awful movie. It's just... so bad. BAD film.

I love Total Recall! Mostly because of how utterly rediculous it is. I remember one part when Arnie is being shot on an escalator he just grabs a civillian and uses him as a shield. I laughed immensely.

Not a movie but I saw the pilot of Broadwalk Empire last night. Majorly impressed.

Anyone see Sanctum yet? And is it good?
