Maybe but I don't think it would have mattered. Their catelog is big and they sold 50 million records world wide, so they're pretty big.

That's one hell of a list

My main listening craze is Maroon 5

Other than them, I have a little sweet spot for electronic DNB and or Dub artists like Pendulum, Skrillex, deadmau5, and such.

Yea, I know The list was bigger in 2006, but it stretched through the time since many artists switched to commercial bull***t. And yeah, Skrillex is droppin' good tracks lately, so is Deadmau5... can't wait for his next gig.

I forgot to mention Dan Stone, Maor Levi, Armin van Buuren (Armin before 2008) and Above & Beyond (before 2009).

Hm, that's a quite good song, thanks for reccomanding, HNM. And I like both kinds of vocals in metal. I've even started to adjust myself to growling recently. My friend is a fan of rock/metal music too, and she listens to Sirenia. She also says that Epica is a quite good band, but I haven't had the opportunity to check any of the songs yet.

You ready to get old school? YOU READY? :O

1. Mozart. Best composer who ever lived, say otherwise and I'll hunt you down
2. Beethoven. Not much to say here.....

No idea how to order the rest sooo....

Dvorak, Brahms, James Horner (yay), John Williams, Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky, Mahler, Berlioz

I guess that's a fairly standard list as far as "classical" music goes, but hey it's who I like, and they're well known for a reason

I think Mozart and Beethoven are awesome. I love music that has high emotional impact, and does not have words. (Some pop, alternative rock and classic rock is ok)
However instead of 1700s music, I prefer more modern like epic music.

My favorite Artists:
1. Steve Jablonsky
2. Two Steps From Hell
3. James Horner
4. James Newton Howard
5. X-Ray Dog
6. Hanz Zimmer
7. John Williams
8. Trevor Rabin
9. Jerry Goldsmith
10. Michael Giacchino
11. Brand X Music
12. Jamin Winans
13. John Murphy
14. Coldplay

Sounds good, I like my classical too. Ever heard of Thomas Tallis?

Eeewww Shostakovitch

Not my favorite stuff, though I do like a few sporadic things by him.

And no Spock, though I will investigate. He does seem rather... old though :p even for my taste
