Yolk-Star! I love it.

Sephiroth was nasty. I guess I'm odd, though, because I struggled more with some of the earlier bosses in FF VII than with Sephiroth--wow, this is making me want to play it again. Oh no!

I have a dual pick here:

Most annoying (most difficult): Mega Man 1, first boss of Dr. Wily's stage (the screen-high robot who breaks into tiny pieces and moves himself from one side of the screen to the other). I was never able to beat him without cheating. Still can't. And yes, I still play those old Mega Man games once or twice a month (gotta love the Wii VC!).

Most annoying (most galling): The final boss of Capcom's Ghouls 'n' Ghosts (Sega Genesis or arcade) who you'd defeat with ease and then find out that you had to complete the entire game again in order to *actually* win. Grrrr....
